Review : Landline by Rainbow Rowell
So let me start off by saying rainbow Rowell is crazy talented She has this way of making the reading have the ability to relate to her story not matter the readers age.The book starts off with Georgie ( the main character) her marriage is on the rocks, with Neal her husband. Neal is perfect for Georgie he cooks he cleans her paints murels on his daughters walls he is the perfect man for a working women. But as I said before they run in to trouble Georgie has been given a big break with her best friend seth for the pair to write 4 episodes to a new show , This big break interferes with Georgie and Neal's Christmas plans. Neal leaves with the children to his mothers house. Georgie in an act of desperation goes to her mothers while she is working on the script for the show while in her childhood home she finds a yellow landline phone that allows her to call the old Neal from collage. The book is beautiful , it really hits home it the way that a relationship can really be rocky when work gets in the way. It was profound and fun and I learned something which tends to happen to me in all Rainbow Rowell books over all with out spoiling the whole book it was amazing and fluffy. A great read.
